Kristen and Thomas
Hey there!
My name is Kristen, and my husband’s name is Thomas. We will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary next week! We have been on a long and sometimes difficult journey to grow our family, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to connect with families who are considering embryo donation.
We have previously had two embryo transfers using adopted, untested embryos, but unfortunately, neither resulted in a pregnancy. After going through extensive testing, our doctor has told us that there is no physical reason preventing me from becoming pregnant. She believes that our chances may be much better with embryos that have been genetically tested, which has led us to continue our search for the right embryo match.
A little about us: We love going to sporting events, taking little adventures close to home, and traveling whenever we have the time and opportunity. We both love spending time with our families and friends, and family is incredibly important to us. We value honesty, communication, faith, education, kindness, and creating a home where a child knows without a doubt that they are deeply loved and wanted.
We are both blessed with large extended families who are already so excited about the possibility of us becoming parents and would absolutely adore any child we are privileged enough to bring into our family. We hope to raise a child surrounded by love, support, laughter, faith, and lots of family memories.
We would love the opportunity to get to know you and hear more about your family and your embryos if you are interested in connecting. Thank you so much for taking the time to read a little about us!

- Snapshot of my life and family:
Hi there! We’re Kristen and Thomas, and we’re so grateful you’re taking the time to get to know a little bit about us.
We’ve been married for five years, and our relationship is one of our greatest blessings. We love spending time together, laughing at the little things, trying new things, and making memories with the people we love. Our life isn’t always fancy or exciting—we genuinely enjoy simple days together. You might find us fishing, relaxing by the pool, watching a movie or reality TV show, playing games with family and friends, or spending time outdoors.
Family is incredibly important to both of us. We are blessed to have close relationships with our extended families, and we love the idea of growing our family and giving a child that same sense of being deeply loved, supported, and surrounded by people who are excited to know them. We have grandparents, aunts, uncles, and extended family who are already looking forward to the possibility of welcoming a little one into the family.
Our faith is also a central part of our lives. Kristen is a pastor at our church, and ministry has been a huge part of our life together. We want our home to be a place where a child knows they are loved unconditionally, where they are encouraged to ask questions, explore who they are, and grow into the person God created them to be. We hope to raise a child with strong faith, compassion for others, a sense of humor, and a heart for serving people.
We also love making memories and having fun! Disney holds a special place in our hearts, and we can definitely imagine family trips, holidays, fishing adventures, pool days, game nights, and all the little traditions that make childhood special. We’re excited about the possibility of experiencing those things not just as a couple, but as parents.
- Fertility story:
Our journey to parenthood has been longer and more difficult than we ever imagined, but through it all, our desire to become parents has never changed.
We have spent years hoping and praying for a child of our own. Along the way, we have gone through numerous tests, appointments, procedures, and treatments trying to understand why pregnancy has not happened for us. We have been incredibly grateful for the doctors and people who have walked alongside us, but the journey has also included a lot of waiting, disappointment, and moments when we wondered what God had in store for our family.
Eventually, we were introduced to embryo adoption, and it opened a door we had never expected. We were incredibly grateful to be matched with a donor family and given the opportunity to adopt their remaining embryos. We completed two frozen embryo transfers, one in June and another in August. Sadly, neither embryo implanted, and we did not get the outcome we had prayed so hard for.
Those losses were difficult, especially because we had already begun imagining the possibility of bringing a baby home. But they also confirmed something for us: we are still called to pursue parenthood, and we still believe there is a child out there who is meant to be part of our family.
Our doctors believe we may have a better chance with genetically tested (euploid) embryos, so we are now beginning the process of matching with another donor family. We are hopeful that the next chapter of our journey will lead us to the embryos that will eventually become our child.
Embryo adoption means so much to us because we recognize the incredible gift and trust involved. We would be honored to give remaining embryos the opportunity for life and to raise a child knowing the beautiful story of how they came to be part of our family.
We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we know that we are ready to love a child wholeheartedly. After everything this journey has taught us, we don’t take the possibility of parenthood for granted. We are incredibly hopeful for what comes next.
