K&B2014
Hey y’all!
We are so excited to meet you and eager to begin our journey to become parents for the first time. Our names are Kaylie and Bradley. We live in a small Oklahoma town where we wish to raise children and grow our family. We are Christians and attend a Methodist church with a large congregation and a lively children’s program. Our community is warm and friendly and hosts many events and activities that are family and children oriented. We dream of taking our children to play in the park, go swimming in my mom’s pool, watch fireworks on the 4th of July, trick-or-treating on Halloween, and watch the Christmas parade.
We have been trying to grow our family for 9 years, including many attempts to conceive naturally and a failed IVF cycle in February 2023. We were hoping to have embryos left to freeze but weren’t able to due to severe male and female infertility. Bradley was diagnosed with retrograde ejaculation in March 2022, while I was diagnosed with poor egg quality, which was discovered during the fertilization stage of our IVF cycle. After consulting with our fertility doctor about our next steps in March 2023, we decided that our best option to become parents is through embryo donation.
Our work life is satisfying and provides us with financial security. I work as a cataloger at a university library. I love French culture, vintage fashion, and trying new makeup looks. My husband Bradley works in housekeeping during the evenings at a local hospital and enjoys playing video games, riding his wave runner, going to the movies, and watching football, NASCAR, and wrestling on TV.
We have been married since November 2014 and live in an old house that once belonged to Bradley’s late paternal grandmother with our two silly but sweet cats named Diva and Waldo who keep our household a lively place.
Bradley and I have similar personality traits when it comes to being social. I love meeting new people and sharing my interests with them. I have a lot of interaction and experience with children who give me great joy. I have volunteered in our church’s nursery and babysat my nieces. Caring for those children has only reinforced my desire for a family of our own.
My husband Bradley never meets a stranger and is empathetic with others. Bradley enjoys making other people happy, especially children.
We both enjoy our full-time jobs and find satisfaction in our work. We are over the moon to begin building our family that we’ve always dreamed about. Nothing would make us happier than having our own family to love, nurture, and instill in them some values that we believe are important such as honesty, fairness, accessibility, love, trust, and accountability. We also wish to share with them our memories, traditions, knowledge, and interests.
We desire a semi-open to open child-led arrangement with occasional contact. Since we hope to have more than one child, we are looking to receive more than two embryos that are at least at the day-5 stage. We are eager to get to know you, and we would ideally like to start with messages, emails, and Zoom meetings. We plan to be mindful of our child’s developmental process and would like to use that to determine when our children are ready to meet the donor family before doing in-person visits.
We are looking for donors who are also Christian. We look forward to raising our children in the Christian faith. We also hope to be matched with donors who have a similar heritage to ours. I am of English/German descent, while Bradley has Scottish/Irish/French ancestry.
We truly look forward to meeting y’all and appreciate your time and consideration. If you are interested in getting to know us better, please send us a message!
With love,
Kaylie and Bradley
- Snapshot of my life and family:
We have been married since November 2014 and live in an old house that once belonged to Bradley’s late paternal grandmother with our two silly but sweet cats named Diva and Waldo who keep our household a lively place.
I come from a blended family with a mom, dad, stepdad, one sister, one half-brother, and two stepsisters. During major holidays like Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, I spend time with my mom's side and dad's side of the family. I also try to occasionally see my maternal grandmother as she is my last living grandparent, though we see each other during holidays as well.
Bradley's mom is widowed, and his dad passed away in April 2015. Bradley also has one brother and two sisters. He is extremely close with his mom's side of the family which is very large and spends time with them during major holidays and vacations. A favorite getaway spot for Bradley's family is the lake where Bradley can ride his wave runner. - Fertility story:
We have been trying to grow our family for 9 years, including many attempts to conceive naturally and a failed IVF cycle in February 2023.
