Looking to complete our sweet family
My husband and I have one amazing daughter that we love with all of our heart. She was born premature and we had multiple miscarriages and failed ivfs trying to have another child. We stumbled onto embryo adoption and it just felt right. We are so grateful that families are willing to help others build families, after every loss we had it became more and more clear how precious every embryo is. My husband owns his own engineering business and after 10 years working at a parenting magazine I have been lucky enough to be a stay at home mom who gets to volunteer in my daughter’s class and help in the school garden, be team mom for her sports and volunteer with the local charity league. We are so lucky and grateful for this happy life surrounded by family, friends and a wonderful neighborhood and school community. We would just love to add to our family.
- Snapshot of my life and family:
A typical weekend for us is having friends and their kids over for dinner on a Friday night, getting up early to go to either basketball, track, or some other sport our daughter is playing or my husband is coaching on Saturday morning. Then walking our dog Waffles (my daughter named her, not us!) to the farmers market to get things to make for dinner. On Sunday we usually go over to my parents or aunts house. During the week I am a stay at home mom who volunteers at school a lot and my husband works from home three days a week.
- Fertility story:
Daughter born at 29 weeks (doing great though, 4.0 and varsity athlete with the kindest heart of anyone I know). We had three subsequent miscarriages, and then three failed ivfs, and then lost our last embryo in our surrogate.
