Dodier Family
Hi! We are the Dodier family. My name is Shannon, my husband is Greg and our daughter’s name is Kylea (pronounced Ki-lee) Greg and I have been married for 12 years. Our daughter Kylea is 19 years old and is in her first year of college. Our life is fun and full of laughter and family. We love to travel to our favorite place which is Florida to be with family & close friends. We have 2 dogs names Rocky (Bullmastiff mix) & Viska (purebred East Czech German Shepherd). We also have 2 cats Mittens & Dizzy.
I currently work for an oil company. I have been in this line of work for over 5 years. Previously I worked for a cellular family business for over 20+ years. I do enjoy photography & have my cosmetology degree.
Greg has worked in the cable industry is whole life. He is now a Senior Project Engineer for one of the largest companies in America through a contracting company. He enjoys hanging with our friends, riding his motorcycle and boating.
Kylea is doing amazing her first year in college and continues to make us proud. She is working with young children and is working her way to a Pediactric Nursing Degree. She enjoys haning out with friends, family and loves cows. She even took some of her senior pictures with cows.
Our lives are full of fun, we never take anything for granted. We have so much to be thankful for including these amazing 5 embroys we would to donate. We feel that donating these to make other as happy as we are to be parents is the most important and selfless thing we can do as a family. We hope to get to know you and your journey during this time.
Thank you,
Greg, Shannon & Kylea
- Snapshot of my life and family:
We are a family of 3 with 4 animals. 2 dogs and 2 cats. We enjoy being with family & friends. Our life is full of fun and laughter. We enjoy doing so many things like photography, riding our motorcycle & when we have a chance to go out on our friends boat. We also love to travel and visit our happy place which is down in Florida.
- Fertility story:
I have struggled with infertility my whole life. I have had several attempts of having a pregnancy. With two successful transfers. I had a baby boy in 2006 who unfortunetly was premature and only lived for 2 hours. Our second was 2020 where we lost a baby at only 6 weeks.
This is not to say that our embroys are not right for you beacuse of my losses. I can get pregant with the help of doctors. However, because I can not get pregnant on my own does not mean these embroys do not deserve a chance for a loving family like ours.
Most companies have denied us because of the fact we have not had a child survive. That should not give anyone the right to try and become a parent with our embroys. Both of our families and their significant others have been successful with there own journies.
Our decision too adopt Kylea is and will always be the best decision we could have ever made. Our hope is that our embroys will do the exact same thing for you to become parents. - Infertility diagnosis or N/A:
