MandS2025
My husband and I have been together for 17 years, married after ten years in 2018. We are lucky to have two sons and have one embryo that we would like to donate. My husband works with disabled veterans and I am a high school counselor. We are looking for the right match and hope that we can find a family eager to engage in this process with us.
- Snapshot of my life and family:
My husband and I have known each other since middle school and partnered up when I was finishing college and he was active duty in the Army. We have been together for over 17 years and are best friends. We married in 2018. We grew up and live in the northern Virginia area. We are very close with our family. We have two dogs and will forever have at least two fur babies in our lives. I work as a high school counselor and my husband works to help veterans earn benefits. We are lucky to have had two boys in the last three years and they are happy and healthy, and enrich our lives. We enjoy sports (watching and playing), mixed martial arts-BJJ, games (card, board), hiking, and the mountains!
- Fertility story:
After about five years of early spontaneous losses, we sought fertility treatment. I had an ectopic pregnancy at that time so we skipped IUI and went right to IVF, but with no known reason for our infertility. Our first three cycles resulted in no viable embryos after PGT, but our fourth round resulted in two 5 day embryos of very good quality. Both were PGT tested. A month after this retrieval we became spontaneously pregnant with one son and then we used one of our embryos that resulted in our second son. We have one remaining embryo that my doctor says has a 70% likelihood of resulting in a live birth and we would love for a family to have the same success that we have had.

- Final Thoughts (This are is for both embryo donors and embryo recipients. Please clarify any answers from above or include any info you would like to share):
We have one 5 day embryo that my fertility doctor believes has a 70% chance for a life birth. The other embryo from this retrieval resulted in our son, born in 2025. The PGT test came back inconclusive, but the grade for the embryo is excellent. Doing another biopsy would degrade the embryo so our fertility doctor did not recommend this.
