Looking to donate two PGT tested embryos
I am a SMBC who went through 4 rounds of IVF in my early 40’s with no success so I turned to embryo donation. I was matched with a couple through my clinic who had three embryos to donate. I used one of those embryos and have a beautiful two year old daughter.
The donors and I have an open relationship. We text and send pictures here and there. I’ve met them in person a couple of times. Once when my daughter was 2 months old and just recently last June. We try to get together at least once a year because we want to provide the siblings a chance to know each other and have the opportunity to develop/continue relationships with each other if they want when they get older.
I am looking for recipients who would like an open relationship with myself and the donors. We are also hoping to find a family that wants to have at least two children as we would like to add just one more family to this extended family of ours. Ideally the recipient(s) would live in California or nearby for ease of travel and maintaining relationships.
The embryos are tested and I know the sex. If you would like to know I’m happy to share that info and if you’d like it to be a surprise I’m happy to keep it to myself. If this seems like something you are open to and would like to chat more to see if this might be a good fit please let me know. I’m very open about the process, what I went through and about my relationship with the donors and what that looks like. I also have an active profile with empower moxi matching if you are more comfortable going through an agency.
- Snapshot of my life and family:
I'm a SMBC with a two year old daughter. We stay pretty busy. I work full time and she goes to daycare during the week and gets to play with all of her friends. On the weekends we enjoy being outdoors and traveling.
- Fertility story:
I went through 4 cycles of IVF with one pregnancy that ended in miscarriage. Two unsuccessful transfers and one failed cycle. I started looking into embryo donation and my clinic had an unofficial program where that matched patients looking to receive embryos with patients looking to donate. I was matched with a very nice couple who used donor eggs and his sperm to create 5 embryos. They used two and have a son and daughter. I used one and have my daughter. There are two left that I am looking to donate.
