Snapshot of my life and family:
I am a retired competitive athlete who now helps others with their health and wellness goals, and partner owns his own beverage company. We both have a great sense of humor so laughter is a huge part of our daily lives! We come from large families with lots of cousins for a little one to enjoy! 😊
Fertility story:
We did 3 unsuccessful IUI’s before moving to IVF (being older than 37 I knew time was not in my side). Out of ten eggs retrieved we were able to obtain 3 embryos. We decided not to test but to give each embryo the best chance at life! Our first transfer of two embryos resulted in a blighted ovum at 8 weeks. Our second and last transfer was successful and seemed to be going well until we had a loss of heartbeat at 10 weeks. Truly devastating but God has beauty for ashes and our hearts are telling us we WILL be parents. Before considering going through more stimulations I’m seeing if perhaps there is already a little one just waiting for a warm home. ☺️
