I am a single mother by choice. I used a donor egg and donor sperm for IVF. I used one embryo and, as a result, have my precious son, who is now almost 5 years old. I am an attorney for tech companies in the SF Bay Area, am spiritual but not religious, and love to hike, read, and learn.

I have two remaining embryos and hope to donate them to someone hoping to have a child. Ideally, if there is a child, he/she can get to know my son through updates. And if we are geographically close, the families could get closer, like a cousin relationship. It hope, down the road, that my son will have a relationship with another child who has the same biological background.

Snapshot of my life and family:
My immediate family is my son and me. My parents and sister are also important parts of our lives and help a lot. We are a village of support for my son. My parents are from India, but I was raised in the U.S.
Fertility story:
I used a donor egg and donor sperm in my 40s. The egg donor is Caucasian and the sperm donor was from India. They both had healthy genetics and seemed to have good personalities.

I was very fortunate to have a healthy baby with my first implanted embryo. He is my only child.

The remaining embryos were frozen in April 2021. Note that the question regarding when the embryos were frozen does not have 2021 as an option, so I put 2022 there.
