Looking to Add a Pea to Our Pod
Hello!
We are looking for PGT tested embryo(s). We have gone through multiple infertility treatments throughout the years and have been unsuccessful.
Some fun items that my husband and I share:
My husband and I both love to learn , enjoy history, going to art museums, traveling, filling our National Park Passport with stamps, and any time we go on vacation, there is some kind of museum that we are going to visit.
Though we are not master gardeners, the new home has allowed us to try our green/brown thumbs. Anything with a bulb, likes warm areas, and/or a perennial does amazing. We had some luck growing peppers and tomatoes.
We have taken several baking classes together and enjoy learning new techniques. He loves to cook and I’m the baker. He will say he doesn’t know how to bake but is good at following box directions. Previously, he was competitive in making Mead.
I can’t carry a tune but he loves to play music and has played the saxophone for many years. Our second date was to an art museum where he was a member. I’m the artistic person and he observes and appreciates it. I don’t do many fine arts anymore but enjoy crocheting and sewing. Many of my gifts are handmade for friends and family.
We aren’t very sporty but include mini golf in our vacations excursions. He loves the Baltimore teams and religiously watches it on TV or listens on the radio.
We balance each other out as I’m an introvert and he is the extrovert. We are open to different kinds of families. We would love to have a pea to our pod.
- Snapshot of my life and family:
My husband and I have been together for 7 years and married for 3.5. Both of our mothers are involved in our lives. My mother lives in Florida and is the guardian of my two nephews, that were adopted by my sister, who passed in 2021. His mother lives outside of Baltimore and we spend time together on major holidays. We both have German and Irish Ancestry, though I have more of a melting pot with my French, British, Danish, Swiss and Norwegian background. We both are working on a hybrid schedule and our days in office are on a different schedule where someone is always home.
- Fertility story:
At age 36 and while trying to preserve my eggs, I learned that I have a genetic condition that caused me to go into diminished ovarian reserve. I tried two egg retrievals and both were unsuccessful. In 2021, I was thrilled to receive 4 embryos that already had two live births from the original 6 embryo batch. These embryos were untested, frozen in early 2000s and unfortunately, did not stick.

We've longed to be a parents for many years. I have saved toys, books, and games from my childhood and have bought things throughout the years. I have the wooden doll high chair, swing, and crib that my grandparents made in the 1980s that are waiting to be used. In 2023, I bought a home that is in a good school district and low crime. I have a third bedroom that is waiting to be filled with child toys and laughter.
