Family of 3 wanting to grow!

I am Brittany and am a 28 year old cancer survivor, mother of one 3 year old son, and wife to my husband, Grant of 5 years. In 2024 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and it ended up being more aggressive than initially thought leading me to do a stem cell transplant. The chemo leading to the transplant resulted in me being infertile. Due to timing and my treatment process I was unable to harvest any eggs before. Grant and I are high school sweethearts and have been together for 11 years. I am a nurse and work as a regional director over the local school health program. My husband works in accounting/billing. Our 3 year old brings us so much joy and keeps us busy. He’s all about baseball, basketball, monster trucks, super heroes, all things boy! We desire for him to have a sibling(s) to grow up with. He loves all the babies and other little ones at the sitters. We are very close with our families and see them regularly.

Snapshot of my life and family:
We live in a small town in Kentucky. I work as a nurse during the week but on a school schedule so I get all holidays, weekends, and school breaks off to spend with family. We enjoy traveling and trying new things. Grant works during the week and enjoys time with family and coaching our son in various sports. We are with extended family almost every weekend and sometimes during the week attending family suppers, sporting events, or just hanging out.
Fertility story:
Naturally conceived one son and when he was 1 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. I went through treatment which led me to an early menopause and being infertile. I am now almost 1 year completely cancer free and we are looking to grow our family.
