I am a pretty darned happy person. I have a loving fiancé, a great chiropractic practice, a garden year round and a menagerie of pets. I’m 5’5″, 140, blondish with hazel eyes. I’m in my 40’s, conquered some cancer challenges, but I still dream of a kiddo that I can show all the secret swimming holes.

Snapshot of my life and family:
We are early risers, mostly due to the ducks, but the day starts with feeding and petting and comical singing. Non-morning people don't visit often. Then there is obligatory tidying, because life is messy. On a day off, there is a project, or 5, you know how it goes. Workdays I go to one of two offices, both full of people I like spending time with and patients I cherish helping. Then return home, some small or large degree of cooking, organizing and bed. If it's a holiday, we are either with the Jason's fam on the vineyard, or with my folks in the the mountains, playing in the river or the snow.
Fertility story:
I had cervical cancer in 2016, and it was the first time that I had to seriously consider what I wanted and what I was capable of. My surgeons spared my reproductive organs but I wanted to wait 5 years to ensure there was no recurrence. When that benchmark came and went I realized I wasn't ready. Then I met the right partner We started trying 2 years ago, my labs were excellent, and no one imagined an impediment. But it didn't happen, and so we had more tests and several rounds of IUI without success. Then in the span of a month, 3 physicians suggested embryo adoption. In theory, I knew what it was, but no one knew what direction to point me in. At this juncture, my numbers are still quite good, but I am just praying that someone will give me the chance to build my little family.

Jason and I are both kind people, we have a great deal of patience and compassion and both work in careers where we can physically help others. We are super active, invested in our family/friend group, and outdoors seemingly all the time; in the yard, up a mountain, in the water, fishing or swimming. We have a lot to offer a little one, and we pray someone will bless us with the opportunity.
